A Fond Farewell

This week Ela has spent lots of time visiting friends and relatives and saying goodbye and thanks to them all. She keeps telling me how much she is going to miss Nana and Grandad - and vice versa I'm sure.
She has stayed with her 2ndcousin Sam at Great aunty Betty's house; played hide and seek with her 2nd cousin Joe at a surprise 65th party for his Grandma Valerie (my Aunty); played with Jack and Niamh our afternoon tea buddies down the road in Anfield; gave out Kinder Surprise eggs to her friends at Sunday School and received a childs bible from the minister; and received farewell gifts and hugs from our neighbours Marlene and Helen.

Today we had a meal with Aunty Wendy, Uncle Neil, Gran, Nana and Grandad at our favourite pub, The Otterspool. Ela loves it because it has a softplay area inside the pub and she can play and eat and play and run and play and eat ice cream and play and get transfers (tattoos) and play and play and play!
We also spent a rather wet but lovely day with Aunty Wendy at Blue Planet Aquarium, patting sting rays and watching divers feed the sharks.
