To the manor born

We went to visit some friends in the beautiful village of Birchover, in the Peak District of Derbyshire this weekend. They have a Georgian Manor house there (check out this link and these photos) where they love to spend weekends. We had such a relaxing time with them and their lovely daughters Kirsten and Kiera. I don't think Ela has ever painted in such a grandiose setting before. And she just loved the country garden...picking flowers and trampling through the hedges.
