Chinese New Year

Today Ela and I went to Chinatown in Liverpool to watch the dragon dances. She wasn't too keen at frst , especially the really loud firecrackers, but once she got up on my shoulders and could see what was happening amongst the 23,000 strong crowd, she had fun. She also loved the fair that was there and we won a soft toy of her choice by grabbing a floating duck with a long pole....of course she chose another happy feet...now we have two of them, one for each armpit! She said Daddy could now have his own happy feet because he was always borrowing hers to sleep with.
She also got her first ever taste of candy floss and proclaimed with a red, sticky face "this is the best thing I have ever tasted in the whole world mummy!"
