Christmas Day 2006

This year Ela was fully aware of what was going on. She had helped decorate the tree, we had read plenty of christmas stories, watched Mickey's xmas DVD over and over and we had even had an advent calendar which she raced down the stairs to see what treat Santa had brought her each morning in December.

We had a late Xmas Eve because we went for dinner at her great Aunty Sue's house with her Oma so on Xmas morning, she was not the first up...infact mummy and daddy were up showered and waiting for her! She was totally gobsmacked with all of the presents under the tree and was thrilled to pieces with the yellow truck with a fishtank in it.

Our plan was to go to Cronulla after she had finished opeing her pressies but she only got through a few as she insisted on playing with each one first before opening another! So we loaded the car up with the remainder and off we went. In fact it took her the remainder of the day and part of boxing day to completely finish opening them all. She loved her new swing set at Nannie and Grandad's house, particularly the monkey bars!
