Lots of babies

Ela just loves cuddling babies, as well as pointing them out to us when we are out and about. For a long time now (7 months) the only baby that Ela has known is Oliver (left). So all babies were called 'Oli baby'. At the end of September, Ela's cousin Harry (below) was born so Ela has a new baby's name to remember. Then a few days ago we went to visit Lilly (our friend Kellie's 3mth old) and this week we are going to visit one month old Evie (Ela's friend, Lola's new sister). Have you noticed how all ozzie names end in an 'i' sound or are made to if they don't already. This makes it all very easy for Ela to say.



And talking of talking, Ela's vocabulary is coming on leaps and bounds. She makes sentences and is even learning a bit of past tense grammar! Her favourite word at the moment is 'MINE' closely followed by the sentence 'NO, Ela do it'.
