At home with Ela

This week Ela has been at home with a cold and I thought I would bring to you a few of the activities we've been cycling through. SHe received this great chalkboard recently from her Godfather Uncle Stevie who was home from Dubai on a visit. She loves to draw and 'stick'. Actually bluetack was a great discovery this week - she spent hours entertaining herself by pulling it apart and sticking bits all over her table.

We also received a new 'pop up' car from Huggies and she loves to go inside and sing 'wheels on the bus'. The car has a boot that fits into the huggies tunnel, and here you can see Ela emerging from it doing her lion's roar. Daddy and her practise to see who can roar the loudest.

Winnie the Pooh is also a favourite and here she is playing with some Whinnie the Pooh pictures of all her favourite characters (poo, igger, iggy, arl, oar oar, and not to forget the oney pot!) Whinnie the Pooh movie gets a lot of air time too

Other things Ela loves to do at home include investigating all of the unpacked boxes we still have lying around the place. She also likes to name items as she finds them (buk, bowl, papa) She discovered a packet of marker pens the other day - which ended in tears after she decided to draw all over her lovely white trousers with them.
