RockStar Sophia Orange visits Concord
Another much anticipated event was the selection of Ela's name from the hat so she could bring home the class teddy bear whom they had christened Rockstar Sophia Orange (!)
I have to say that it was very stressful all around, first there was the camera stress - I couldn't find mine so we had to use the crappy blackberry cameraphone. Then there was keeping up with the Joneses - other kids had taken 6 photos so we had to do MORE. And considering we hadn't gotten home till 6pm and we had to do all this and get a story written and photos pasted into the scrap book before being up and out at 7.30am the next morning....well you can imagine. And there was the attitude. Anyway, here is the resultant report and (crappy) pics. Needless to say there were the obligatory tears the next day as she handed him back 'Oh I wish I had asuch a beautiful teddy' she wailed. Excellent - we dragged out ALL of her teddies that next night and she nows plays with at least some of them!

RS Sophia had a very brief but eventful visit to Ela’s house today. Since we don’t arrive home from Gumnut until its dark and we go to bed within a couple of hours, there was a lot to squeeze in.
First RS watched as Ela had a quick game on the computer. Today she received a CDROM called 102 Dalmations and RS 
helped her draw pictures with Dogs and visit some interesting places in London and Paris. After that, RS helped Ela eat her dinner then there was time for a quick play on Ela’s Ariel piano.
Before bed, RS Sophia has to brush her teeth then it was p.j.s on and into the bedroom. RS asked if she could play with Ela’s doll house as it was just her size and she found a playmate in baby Pooh bear.
Then there was just enough energy left for a story in bed before lights out and off to dream land with her new friend Ela.

I have to add a note here and say that this event brought on bedwetting which hasn't yet stopped ( 23/7/09) :(
