While we have been staying in Cronulla, Ela has been enjoying Sunday morning strolls with Nana and Grandad along the Esplanade. One day she saw a tree with lots of dummies hanging from it. Nannie explained that little kids hang there dummies there when they grow big and no longer need them. So quick as a flash, Ela tells me she will hang her dummy on the tree.

Now, Ela hasn't had a dummy since she was about 8 months old. However she managed to find an old one of hers lying around and suddenly grew very attached to it but made a great show of telling how she would go and tie it to the tree. Which she did with great pride!
