Play School

Today we went to a play school concert. It's one of Ela's favourite programs on ABC Kids and she was pretty excited about it. However when we got there (Paramatta Town Hall) something (or someone) spooked her and she decided that it was too scary and wouldn't leave my side. She refused to sit on the floor with the hundreds of other kids and wanted to perch on my knee to watch the show!
She kept asking my about the cat's tail? I think she was referring to the electrical cable coming from a lighting rig on the side of the stage. She sort of got into the singing although she seemed to spend the whole show with one eye on the electrical cable waiting for the 'scary part'. Obviously she has beeen watching too many movies which always seem to have something to make them jump in them. Afterwards though she talked non stop about the characters and toys who were there so I guess she must have enjoyed it.
