Thanks baby Einstein

This past few days have been a nightmare for poor Ela. She has been streaming with flu and a possible ear infection. She has been to the docs twice and been prodded and poked around and has had numerous servings of baby panadol. Combined with sleepness nights and whingey days life has been tough. We would however like to pay our greatest thanks to the baby Einstein dvds who have kept her mesmerised for days. She never seems to tire of the same pictures, shapes, sounds and kids. We also bought her a Bob beanbag so she could sit comfortably and watch rather than her preferred position of standing two inches in front of the screen.
Dad got his first full day of childcare duties yesterday, no mean feat witha sickly babe, as I had my first day at work in a new job and could hardly call in sick! We think she is on the mend now though because today she decided to hoe into a bowl of spag bol and was being her cheeky self again.
