Presents Galore

Ela was still probably too young to realise what was going on this christmas but she knew something was amiss when she woke up and saw all these presents surrounding the cot. She ripped her way with glee through the wrapping paper (thanks to all for your wonderful gifts)and is pictured here with her little people animal friends. She loves animal noises and so far her favourite seems to be the chickens/hens.
However the present we think she loved best was BOB (the builder) - he is slightly bigger than her but this doesn't put her off sharing her blankie with him or giving him a hug. If only Santa had worn a shiny yellow helmet instead of that shaggy white beard, there may not have been quite so many tears when we tried to take a picture together. When we pulled Bob out from his hiding place under the bed (which was quite difficult because he got stuck, he was so big) there were shouts of glee followed by Bo Bo.
Sad to think Ela's first words are about a builder...maybe she will follow in Daddy's footsteps after all.
