Firsts

Well Ela turned one year old today. She wasn't amused when we tried to put a party hat on her but she got very excited by the numerous renditions of 'happy birthday to you' she had sung to her throughout the day. She was interested in opening her presents for about 5 seconds and then decided she would rather play with the camera we were taking her picture with.
She was very spoiled, of course, with cards, money, clothes, toys and a few big ticket items like a swing, a slide and a trike! Thanks to everyone for the beautiful gifts.
