Kangaroo Valley

We took Ela on a little mini break this weekend, to Kanagroo Valley. We rented a house near to Hampden Bridge (in background) and chilled. Daddy had to go back to work but Ela stayed on for a few more days with Nana, Grandad and Mum. Unfortunately we weren't blessed with any good weather but we enjoyed the country air. The highlight of the trip for Ela was probably seeing a real horse. She uses grunts and pointing to express herself and when she realised that the horse in the field next door was the same as her finger puppet she went crazy, motioning and 'shouting' at it. It's great to see her making connections between things she has played with and read/seen, and their real world counterparts.
