Hot cross buns

Hot cross buns. One a penny, two a penny, hot cross buns.

This is one of Ela's favourite new songs. She goes to music classes on a friday morning where she marches, plays and sings along with 8 other toddlers. Today we had our last class before Easter and teacher Jill brought along a picnic of juice and buns so they could all sing along.

Other favourite songs include 'riding up and down in my little red wagon', 'slice, slice, the bread looks nice...' and 'little chicken in the egg.'

She loves all things music especially since we started going regularly to the Opera House and sings at the top of her voice whenever the fancy takes her. Her friend Lola recently taught her 'Lou, Lou, skip to my Lou' which she loves. (And is quite appropriate considering we are currently potty training!)

She also loves to tinkle on nannie's ivories whenever she visits.
