God Parents

We had Ela's naming ceremony back in February when both Wendy and Steve were visiting. Ela looked the part in a christening gown that had done the rounds. It was originally made by Judy Kritzler and all of her boys had worn it, all of the Huber kids had worn it too and now our Ela. She wasn't in good spirits that day - probably the weather - it was really humid and a huge storm descended. The dogs were going frantic as they hate the thunder and Ela cried all of the way up to the ceremony and then had a rest while she watched everyone watch her, then set off again. We bought her a little weeping lili pili tree and had everyone write a wish on a little card and tie it to the tree. Four months on and the tree is still growing, and my wish has already come true.
